Thanks to the BISEPS project on the business parks of Breda, it became clear that very little is known about the energy labels of offices in the Netherlands. For every 7 buildings on the business parks, only one building has a label. Therefore, the scope of the sustainability issues is completely unsure.
A new cooperation, Taskforce Label A, can benchmark these buildings fast and simple. Taskforce Label A developed a tool which benchmarks an utility building without energy label to comparable buildings in the Netherlands with an energy label. The benchmarking is based on utility function, surface and building year. The tool can be used for individual buildings, for business parks and for cities.
