Your Energy Sussex is a partnership of local authorities in the south east of England that is delivering a long-term programme of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Led by a small team at West Sussex County Council, the partnership has delivered largescale solar installations, domestic renewable energy and building retrofits as well as support for vulnerable residents. The partnership uses Sussex-based companies to deliver its work where possible, which promotes local economic growth, employment and skills development.
Role of WSCC in the BISEPS project: Your Energy Sussex is the lead partner for BISEPS in the UK working with the Manor Royal Business Park as the Living Lab, Crawley Borough Council and other partners to develop and demonstrate a model for sustainable and renewable energy that can be widely applied. The Manor Royal Business Park is one of the largest of its kind in the country and home to more than 500 companies. Your Energy Sussex is also the lead for Work Package 3 which covers the roll out of the BISEPS model to future business clusters.
