In the Living Lab South West Flanders, BISEPS-partners Leiedal and POM focus on 3 business parks: Harelbeke-Zuid, Kortrijk-Noord and Waregem-Zuid.
Both partners screened more than 100 companies to check on opportunities for sustainable energy production and exchange of energy. This resulted in the development of 35 tailor-made business cases for solar PV, potentially triggering an investment of 9,5 million Euro. Now this unburdening trajectory for these SME’s continues, with detailed study of stability of roofs, group purchase and creating the option of 3rd party financing via citizen participation.
