Biseps looks back at an inspiring two-day Mid-Term Review event by Interreg 2 Seas in ICC Ghent (25 & 26 April ’19). This event hosted almost 400 participants and many of the running projects presented their progress with a stand in the exhibition hall. The two-(half) day event was packed with interesting plenary sessions and workshops.
Highlights for Biseps were:
Workshop Adopting low-carbon technologies in housing & infrastructure
Biseps lead partner Dominiek Vandewiele (Leiedal) was part of the discussion panel on this thematic workshop. Dominiek explained on how the energy synergies and cooperation stimulated within Biseps is an interesting way of carbon reduction at business cluster level and joined the discussion on low-carbon technologies as a whole as solutions for housing & infrastructure.
Exhibition hall
Bispes was represented as one of the Interreg 2 Seas projects with a stand in the exhibition hall. The stand attracted many visitors who had a chat about the project, took home a flyer or joined the Biseps newsletter contact list.
Workshop Target Group Involvement
Biseps partner Eveline Huyghe (WVI) was asked to join the panel on Target Group Involvement where she shared her expertise on this topic with many examples from her experience in the Biseps project. The discussion involved defining and reaching the right target groups, involvement of all the project partners and the different communication channels to reach different groups of people.
